According to Athletic (h / t Birmingham Mail), Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intends to play Jack Grealish on the right wing if United sign him in the summer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant season at Aston Villa despite his team’s problems.
Although it is apparently a primary target, there has been debate over how Grealish can be included in the United lineup.
Solskjaer has a ready-to-use solution to calm those fears. The Norwegian intends to play the midfielder on the right.
Grealish has only played on the right occasion and most of his appearances come from the left or center.
United already have the impressive Bruno Fernandes in the middle, while Marcus Rashford is a force he faces left.
Grealish has made 12 appearances on the right wing, primarily for Notts County during his loan period there in 2013/14. He made three assists from the post.
Grealish has scored 7 goals and 6 assists in 26 Premier League appearances this season. His acquisition would be an excellent addition to our attack, especially after the success of Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils have been successful in the transfer market in recent times and have made a number of cunning signings.
