Singer Selena Gomez has lost $ 4.9 million to buy Tom Petty’s former Encino mansion.
The house was reportedly originally built by the late rocker Tom Petty and his first wife, Jane Benyo, after a burning fire destroyed the Tudor-style mansion.
The new mansion for children’s music superstar and international pop star-turned-actor has 11,500 square feet of living space. The multi-story structure features a series of hidden hallways, secret panic rooms, and a Byzantine floor plan that is sure to delight children of all ages.
The house is invisible both from the street and from the neighbors. Inside, the double-height living room is accented by a cinematic stone fireplace that travels through the upstairs balcony before reaching the roof of the house. Skylights flood open, open, and public spaces with warmth, and light brown floating hardwood floors keep the light out.
Gomez’s new neighbors include a number of social media stars: YouTubers Logan Paul, James Charles, and Rebecca Zamolo. And Gomez’s new property is also located right next to an even larger contemporary mansion that is currently owned and occupied by actor Vin Diesel and his longtime partner Paloma Jiménez.
