The Ndlovu Youth Choir partnered with Netflix to bring a South African twist to The square root of the possible – a track from the Christmas movie from the streaming service, Jingle jangle.
In true Ndlovu style, the group delivered a stellar performance, guaranteed to give you goosebumps.
The song was recorded in six of South Africa’s official languages and the video was filmed in Johannesburg, a press release revealed.
“Phakamani Ma-Afrika. The Ndlovu Youth Choir (@choirafrica) is here to serve us the voice and spirit of the holiday season, in this interpretation of the hit single ‘Square Root of Possible’ by #JingleJangle,” wrote Netflix SA on Twitter.
Sharing the news on their Instagram account, the chorus wrote: “We are very excited to share our joyous South African version of ‘Square Root of Possible.’ The song is from @netflixsa’s beautiful #jinglejangle movie that will inspire and bring hope. Christmas “, adding that” they even received a very special and inspiring message from filmmakers @davidetalbert and @lynsissontalbert (sic). “
