The series begins on July 3 when the Lions take on the Stormers in Cape Town, and the FNB Stadium will host the first test against the Springboks three weeks later.
The second test follows on July 31 at the Cape Town Stadium before tourists return to Gauteng for the final test at Ellis Park on August 7.
The Lions have toured South Africa 13 times before, with the first Tour taking place in 1891.
In that time, the Lions won four Test series, lost eight with a tie. His overall record against the Springboks is: he played 46, won 17, lost 23 and drew six.
