Cape Town – South Africa has registered 1,247 new cases of coronavirus and another 36 deaths, according to the Department of Health.

Gauteng remains the worst affected province with a total of 230,412 confirmed cases and 4,863 deaths.

DEATHS AND RECOVERIES

“Our recoveries now stand at 680,726, which translates to a 92% recovery rate,” Mkhize said.
