Hours after appearing to confirm that he played his last game with Benfica, Ruben Dias found that he ‘liked’ a publication in which he claims that an agreement has been reached for his transfer to Manchester City.

The image shows a mockup of Dias wearing a City jersey, with the caption also saying that City will sign Dias when Otamendi agrees to join Benfica.
Benfica de Dias’ new central defender Jan Vertonghen commented on the post with a crying face emoji. Fans also spotted Dias’s partner April Ivy posting an Instagram story saying ‘here we go’, tagging Dias and showing two people holding hands.
“I’m pretty sure it was the last game,” Benfica manager Jesús said after their 2-0 win over Moreirense on Saturday.
