Royal fans are at odds with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for being able to keep the royal titles despite saying goodbye to the royal family.
The new wave of criticism against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came after they snubbed Prince Charles in his 2021 letter to Archewell’s website, while paying tribute to Princess Diana.
One person wrote: “America might enjoy having a duke and duchess living on its shores for the novelty of this. However, when the true cost of their maintenance comes to light, they might think differently. The monarchy and Hollywood stars are not the same. “
“Yes. Take it off now. No new negotiations. Just go away,” wrote another angry netizen.
While a third commented: “Is it necessary to ask this question?”
Harry and Meghan issued a joint statement to call in 2021 in a letter they posted on their Archewell website.
“I am my mother’s son. And I am our son’s mother. Together we bring you Archewell,” they said.
