Barcelona’s new coach, Ronald Koeman, has stated that they are not done with the current transfer window yet and could sign two more important players. Due to financial problems at the Camp Nou, the former Dutch coach is going through a difficult period and has not been able to buy players comfortably.

The Spanish giants are looking to sign Eric Garcia from Manchester City and Memphis Depay from Lyon to complete their current transfer window goals. However, their rebuilding is going well, as they have just completed the signing of the young Ajax Sergino Dest. which was officially announced recently. The former Ajax defender landed the team’s number 2, which was previously the legendary number of right-back Dani Alves.

The rebuilding of Barcelona has led them to make tough decisions. Luis Suárez, Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo and Arthur Melo have been sold to the best European clubs in different leagues. These players were sold in order to free up salaries and bring in some money for transfers, as they are suffering from significant financial problems. This coronavirus pandemic meant a loss of 320 million euros for the Blaugrana.

However, former Everton manager Ronald Koeman has stated that the Catalan giants are looking to sign a center back and a forward. Talks about the sale of Ousmane Dembele and Rafinha have emerged in recent days. The coach has reportedly admitted that they are weak on defense and will need reinforcements. Therefore, the former La Masia youth, Eric García, could be returning home. Depay, on the other hand, has agreed to personal terms, but no official news yet.

The La Liga giants have won their opening two games in the league and they look strong and determined. Philippe Coutinho and Ansu Fati look good and fit. However, the manager feels reinforcements are needed and, with the transfer window coming to an end, there could be a couple more signings to be announced soon.
