Thiago Alcantara was also on hand to see his teammates with the Spanish international who is currently recovering from a knee injury that has kept him out of action since October 17.
The 29-year-old posted a message to fans highlighting his desire to return to the field and make his long-awaited debut at Anfield.
His caption read: “Soon from the field.”
Thiago is expected to return to action sometime in the next few weeks after the coach’s fitness update last month.
“That day when he was injured in that bad challenge in the Everton game, there was another serious injury and after the scan, there was good news and very bad news,” Klopp said Nov. 30, according to Sky Sports.
“[With Thiago] nothing snapped or snapped, but it was still a massive impact to the knee.
“The impact on the leg was so great that it is still not well. He is not massive and he trains from time to time, not at this moment because we have to realize that we have to take more steps ”.
