When Rihanna went out to get something to eat at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Friday, she was photographed, with bruises on her face and a black eye.
TMZ obtained the photographs and heard from the singer’s representative that she was actually in an electric scooter accident.
According to the post, the scooter flipped over, hitting her directly in the face and forehead, leaving some swelling and bruising.
“Rihanna is completely fine now, but she flipped on an electric scooter last week and hurt her forehead and face,” Rihanna’s representative later confirmed to Persons.
The spokesperson added: “Fortunately there were no major injuries and she is healing quickly.”
