Eskom’s Sikonathi Mantshantsha said today’s power outages will last until 10pm tonight.

“We have an unplanned capacity amounting to 11,185MW, as well as the 5,000MW that is under planned maintenance. As usual, fellow South Africans, we ask for your help in using electricity so that we can get out of this situation.”
