Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate a gloomy Christmas this year alongside Prince Philip.
In addition to her children and their families not being present with His Majesty for the first time during the Christmas season due to COVID-19, there is someone she will especially miss: Prince Harry.
According to royal expert Penny Junor, the absence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this year will be a huge success for the monarch, who will also miss spending the special holidays with her youngest great-grandson.
“I am sure the Queen will be very sad not to see Harry, Megan and her youngest great-grandson. I think he has a very special soft spot for Harry, “Junor said. Uk express.
“Harry gets along very well with his cousins and I suppose he will miss seeing them and of course he will miss spending time with his grandparents whom he adores,” he said.
He went on to add that Harry would also be sad to miss out on his family’s Christmas traditions by spending it in America for the first time.
“He will miss the charity soccer game that he and William instigated several years ago, between the local team, them and the farm workers, and the locals,” he said.
