Themba Zwane, Samir Nurkovic, Peter Shalulile and Gaston Sirino will battle for the coveted 2019/20 PSL Footballer of the Season award.
PSL revealed the full list of players nominated for top honors following the 2019/20 local soccer campaign on Thursday afternoon, with several of the league’s best players making the cut.
Mamelodi Sundowns ace Themba Zwane, along with his Uruguayan teammate Gaston Sirino, will look to crown their trophy-laden season by claiming the coveted Player of the Season award, while his new teammate Peter Shalulile will also was rewarded for his goal by scoring goals at Highlands Park.
Kaizer Chiefs shooter Samir Nurkovic completes the list of nominees for the coveted award. When it comes to Coach of the Season nominees, the Champions Mamelodi Sundowns are once again well represented with their former coach Pitso Mosimane as the favorite to take the trophy once again.
Mosimane has stiff competition from the man he fought during the PSL season, Ernst Middendorp of Kaizer Chiefs, while Eric Tinkler of Maritzburg United completes the list of three nominees.
