Proteas sprinter Kagiso rabada was in the record books again on Saturday, reaching fifty wickets faster than any other bowler in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
SCOREKEEPER: Delhi Capitals v Chennai Super Kings
The 25-year-old, who plays for the Delhi Capitals, reached the milestone when he had his former ODI captain and T20 Faf du Plessis (58 of 47) get caught long.
Rabada took 27 matches to reach 50 IPL pitches, comfortably beating the previous record of 32 parties established by the spinner of the West Indies Sunil Narine.

Earlier in the week, Rabada’s Delhi teammate and Proteas fast partner Anrich Nortje set his own unique record by throwing the fastest ball ever recorded in the IPL at 156 kph.
