Maria SinghNeé, Princess Maria Galitzine of the Habsburg dynasty died. She was 31 years old.

The Austrian princess died on May 4. She is the daughter of Prince Piotr Galitzine and Princess Maria-Anna Galitzine: her royal status came from her parents, as Prince Piotr is a Russian aristocrat and her mother is the daughter of Archduke Rudolf of Austria, the youngest son of Emperor Charles I of Austria and Empress Zita of Bourbon-Parma (the last emperor and empress of Austria). According to a obituary published in The Houston Chronicle, his death was caused by a “sudden” cardiac aneurysm.

She was buried on May 8 in the Orthodox section of Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, reports People.

She is survived by her parents, five brothers, her husband, Rishi Roop Singh, a chef in Houston where she lived, as well as her two-year-old son, Maxim, reports Country Country.

Although she was born in Luxembourg and was a descendant of the Habsburg dynasty, she lived a very normal life, even becoming an interior designer.

Her sister Tatiana, who lives in Texas, spoke about her not-so-real life to The Houston Chronicle in 2018 saying: “My life is completely normal unless we are invited to royal weddings. My email sometimes says ‘Princess Tatiana’. The strange thing was when I went from ‘Princess’ to ‘Lady’ I had been a princess all my life” .
