Prince Harry and Prince William have taken millions in just one year from their father, Prince Charles.
The Prince of Wales reportedly spent nearly $ 7 million in 2019 to provide financial support to Prince William and Harry along with their families.
Express reported that from the April 2019 to March 2020 period, more than $ 7 million was spent on the two, which was nearly $ 750,000 more than what was spent a year earlier.
British royal fans weren’t too happy with the amount, especially the sum spent on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now that they have resigned as members of the British royal family.
“Now that he has left the monarchy, he should return to Prince Charles the designer clothes he bought for him,” wrote one user.
Almost 95% of the lifestyle of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was financed by Prince Charles.
Emma Forbes, an expert on royalty, told Page Six earlier this year: “If you are going to live [in the United States]I can’t imagine Prince Charles saying, ‘Listen, go to Givenchy twice a year and get what you want and we’ll pay the bill.’
