Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Secret Wedding Claim Discredited With Evidence

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not have been secretly married, as they claim, because the couple’s marriage certificate proves they are fake.

In the revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had revealed that they were officially married in the presence of the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby before the big event.

“You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. Nobody knows,” he told the host.

However, the General Registrar’s Office refuted their claim as the couple’s marriage certificate revealed that they officially became husband and wife on May 19, 2018 in a lavish public ceremony at Windsor Castle.

The official who wrote her license claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is “obviously confused and clearly misinformed” about her own marriage.

Former Chief Secretary Stephen Borton said Sun: “They were not married three days before in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury.”

“The Special License that I helped draft allowed them to get married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor and what happened there on May 19, 2018 and was seen by millions around the world was the official wedding recognized by the Church of England and the law.

“What I suspect they did was exchange some simple vows that perhaps they had written themselves, and that is fashionable, and they said it in front of the Archbishop, or, more likely, it was a simple rehearsal.”

Her claim was dismissed due to the fact that her alleged private wedding took place at Nottingham Cottage, which is not a licensed venue.

Furthermore, the lack of witnesses to the private ceremony only added further doubt to his claim.

“For them to be married, a special license was drawn up and Her Majesty the Queen’s wording was registered authorizing the wedding and the official venue,” Stephen said.
