Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cut ties with the royal family, the couple have not looked back once.

However, if the reports are to be believed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be planning a return trip to the UK that would last up to five months, despite having severed ties with royalty.

The surprising decision was revealed by the royal correspondent and co-author of Find freedom, Omid Scobie, on his royal podcast The HeirPod.

The two were revealed to be living in the UK from March to July and also plan to attend the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue as well as Trooping the Color next year.

Scobie revealed that the couple, who currently live in Santa Barbara with their son Archie, had “many reasons” to return to the UK.

“I would not be surprised if we see the Sussexes spend an extended period of time in the UK next year. In March, we have the Invictus Games, which have been rescheduled, in The Hague. In June, we have Trooping the Color, where I imagine that Prince Harry and Meghan would still like to be in. And on July 1, we will have the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue, “Scobie said.

“There are many reasons for them to be based in the UK during that period, depending on whether the journey will return to normal.”
