Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s New Years celebrations have not been quite as lavish this time, a stark contrast to the celebration three years ago when they were partying to the full.
Harry had taken his then-fiancée, in December 2017, to Monaco to celebrate with his friends, which included Prince Albert of Monaco and his wife, Princess Charlene.
According to a source, the couple, who were heavily involved in the party scene back in the day, had the time of their lives as they indulged in a private and expensive celebration.
“Harry and Meghan were in a very private and very expensive place,” the source said.
“Monte Carlo is the center of the party at this time of year and it is said that the British royals really enjoyed themselves. The fun could well have been performed by Prince Albert, who is a close friend of Harry.
“The truth is that they were partying like tycoons. Fun in Monaco is never underestimated and always costs a fortune!”
