Popular ZimDanceHall Singer Soul Jah love DIES! (UPDATED)

The celebrated Zim Dancehall Chanter Soul Jah Love (real name Soul Musaka) has died.

Musaka, who was 31 years old, succumbed to complications from sugar diabetes at Mbuya Dorcas Hospital tonight (Tuesday).

Sources claim that he was pronounced dead upon arrival at ZAOGA hospital in Waterfalls. It is reported that his friends took him there when his condition deteriorated.

One of his managers, Marshall Bimha, popularly known as Wadis, confirmed to reporters from Mbuya Dorcas Hospital that he had lost his brother.

Flamboyant American preacher and prophet Passion Java had gathered Zimbabweans on social media to pray for the talented musician saying that he (Soul) had collapsed and that his condition was very critical. Many people took him as a joke given his recent skirmishes with popular comedian Madam Boss.

Soul Musaka (Brief biography of Soul Jah love)

Soul Musaka rose to fame in 2012 singing hit songs like ‘I am the one who leaves’ Y ‘Gum-kum ‘ . The singer was born on November 22, 1989 and was educated at Prospect Elementary School and later Lord Malvern High School. Soul’s life was plagued with tragedies and tribulations, almost from birth, with his mother dying when he was a young child, to losing his twin brother John at age 15, and his father dying in 2005.

The talented musician was a known diabetic who often missed shows due to ailment despite his open battles with drug addiction.
