- The reality star recently took his family and closest friends to a tropical island to celebrate.
- “40 and I feel so humbled and blessed,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a series of photos from the trip.
It seems like Kim had her big party to celebrate her 40th birthday after all.
The reality star shared on a recent episode of keeping up with the Kardashians who in the middle of the pandemic could not do everything possible to turn 40, but opted for a sweet reflection of his life over the years with his brothers instead, that, of course, was televised.
Now, while the Kardashian-Jenners threw a party for her too, having all her previous great parties over the years (no kidding, see photos below), she also had fun with her inner circle on a tropical island.
“40 and I feel so humbled and blessed,” Kim wrote in Instagram on Tuesday. “There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we all remember the things that really matter.”
She added: “For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped me become the woman I am today. Before Covid, I don’t think we really appreciated simple luxury. it was being able to travel and be with family and friends in a safe environment.
“After 2 weeks of multiple health screenings and asking everyone to self-quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal for just a brief moment.
“We danced, we rode our bikes, we swam near the whales, we kayaked, we watched a movie on the beach and much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is far out of reach in this moment, so in moments like these, it humbly reminds me how privileged my life is, “he said, adding the hashtag” # thisis40. “
