Manchester United have provided a new series of training photos from Monday’s session as the team prepares for the midweek clash with Sheffield United.
The session was characterized by the participation of Facundo Pellistri for the first time since he tested positive for Covid in early January.
Since then it has been speculated that Pellistri could go out on loan, with The men United are open to letting him out to gain experience.
This may have been one of the 19-year-old’s last chances to impress Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaches and try to show that he should stay put for now.
This was Pellistri’s first chance to join teammate Amad Diallo in training.
Diallo looked in good spirits and showed off his ball skills in front of photographers.
Jesse Lingard was also on hand amid ongoing speculation about his future. The Telegraph reports that David Moyes’ West Ham is currently leading the chase to sign him on loan.
Diallo was seen watching as Lingard displayed his skills, teaching the young man a trick or two while he could.
Bruno Fernandes looked happy one day after his free kick goal against Liverpool.
Fernandes’ play seemed to have inspired Fred, who was seen practicing his free throws.
Judging from Fred’s celebration, Fernandes’ tips may have been worth it …
