It seems the palace is not happy with the way Prince Charles is portrayed in the latest season of The crown.

According to the Sunday mailPrince William is also not “very happy” with the performance, while Charles’ friends say the series is “dragging things that happened during very difficult times 25 or 30 years ago without thinking about anyone’s feelings.”
“That is not correct or fair, particularly when many of the things that are depicted do not represent the truth,” they said of Charles and Camilla being portrayed in a “very unflattering light.”
“There is no point in telling carefully nuanced stories, everything is very two-dimensional. This is a trick on a Hollywood budget. The public should not be fooled into thinking that this is an accurate description of what really happened.”
Although the queen’s communications secretary has previously said the series is a “fictional interpretation of historical events,” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also come under fire. have signed a large contract with Netflix this year.
