LOS ANGELES – Ozzy Osbourne remembers feeling “calm” when he threatened to kill his wife while he was high.

The 71-year-old music star can still vividly recall feeling “at peace” during the dramatic 1989 incident, when he threatened Sharon at her home in Buckinghamshire, in the south-east of England.

He shared: “I felt calmer than I have ever felt in my life. I was at peace. Not exactly one of my greatest achievements.

“All I remember is that I woke up in Amersham Jail and asked the policeman, ‘Why am I here?’ And he says, ‘Do you want me to read your title?’ Then he read: ‘John Michael Osbourne, you have been arrested for attempted murder.’ ”

Sharon, 67, admitted that Ozzy’s attempted murder caught her off guard.

She also recalls that her husband was in a “very calm” state during the incident.

Sharon, who has Aimee, 37, Kelly, 35 and Jack, 34, with Ozzy, told ‘The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne’: ‘I used the kids to sleep, I bathed them, we had a babysitter living in the House. then – and I sat reading.

Entered the room. I had no idea who was sitting across from me on the couch, but it wasn’t my husband.

“He goes to a stage where he has that look in his eyes, the blinds were closed and I couldn’t get to him.” And he just said, ‘We have come to the decision that you have to die.

“ He was calm, very calm, then all of a sudden he pounced on me and just jumped on me and started strangling me. He threw me on the floor on top of me and I was looking for things on the table.

“ I felt the panic button and I pressed it and the next thing I knew, the police were there. ”
