The launch was met with criticism and jubilation among soccer fans. This is how Twitter reacted
The Orlando Pirates are trending on social media after the presentation of their 2020-21 home and away uniforms.
The Buccaneers have returned to the famous black and white colors as their home jersey, while they have decided to go orange for their away kit.
And this was met with a mixed reaction from fans across the country.
Some have expressed disappointment, especially with the orange kit.
The last time we used these strange colors outside of our culture we got a hit of 6️⃣ – 0️⃣😭 .. I’m not ready for such a score again. #orlandopirates #OnceAlways pic.twitter.com/urjZ4ZJ8qc

What happened to the star? Some fans asked why the Pirates logo on the front of the jersey doesn’t have the star on it.
Where is the star or has the star expired? 🤷♂️ #orlandopirates pic.twitter.com/CQisGTY4d7

What happened to the star that is supposed to be on his shirt? 🤔#orlandopirates pic.twitter.com/8V4ZGPQ4i8

The answer is that the Sea Robbers kept the same logo but decided to place it on the lower right side of the jersey.
We want the star to return, we are proud of this star. #orlandopirates pic.twitter.com/iWthOPjmCN
