It seems that the culinary skills of Finance Minister Tito Mboweni are still not up to par.
This time, Mboweni tried his luck with the beef liver and vegetables, which he described as a good start, but judging by the images, it ended in disaster.
It started well. A simple meal of beef liver with vergies. Great idea. It didn’t work. I need an assistant chef now! To attend virtually. pic.twitter.com/J3MiFtlyiV

This is not the first time that the minister has failed in the kitchen: earlier this year he tried a plate of sardines and potatoes with a lot of garlic; he also tried masonja instead of sardines.
He shared the step-by-step process of his recipes throughout the year and remained unfazed, even though Twitter wasn’t very impressed with everything he features, including a simple rotisserie chicken.
Mboweni posted a photo of a very unappealing looking chicken in the oven and even admitted that the dish was not going as planned.
Reality sensation and host of Dinner at Somizi’s in Mzansi Magic and published author of a cookbook titled, Dinner at Somizi’s – I’m not a chefSomizi also commented that Tito Mboweni’s kitchen needed an intervention.
Somizi has now reminded Mboweni that he is still available to offer his services after the minister tweeted that he needed a virtual assistant:
but honorably I offered my services …… hit me … … about time ……

Of course, Twitter did not hesitate to comment:
