Manchester United fans have received more disappointing news regarding Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
This summer’s biggest transfer saga has quickly aged and fans are fed up with the lack of genuine updates.
Sancho is destined to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s main target of the summer and that has left fans puzzled as to why it has taken him so long to sign him.
Not only has it been disappointingly slow, but recent signs suggest that a deal may no longer be possible.
Without any other action, it has been a surprisingly poor summer for Manchester United so far.
According to ESPN, there are suggestions that Dortmund will not sell Sancho this year despite Solskjaer dedicating a large chunk of his transfer budget to the highly rated player.
ESPN has joined the long list of publications in recent times that seem to hint that a deal is closed and that is in line with what the German giants have insisted on for some time.
However, fans still have some hope left and time will tell if the deal will go through or not.
If Sancho is not signed, the blow can be softened by securing a couple more signings to strengthen the squad in general, but there is no confidence that that will happen either.
