JOHANNESBURG – Former South African Airways (SAA) chairman Dudu Myeni revealed on Thursday the identity of a Mr. X, a witness that the state capture commission issued a protection order.

Mr. X recounted the investigation and he and Myeni scammed and laundered millions from Mhlatuze Water when she was chair of the board.

He was asked about Mr. X’s testimony that he received money from his son’s company, Premier Attraction, but Myeni went on to name the witness.

Supreme Court Vice President Raymond tried to stop her, but she persisted.

“I am not going to talk about issues that belong to what the so-called Mr. X said because of the fear that has been presented to him, President. He’s an honest man. “

Zondo intervened: “Ms Myeni, I am monitoring the procedures in the commission.”

The vice president of the Supreme Court said he would deal with Myeni’s revelation when the commission returned from a lunch break.
