Mpumalanga SAPS searches for suspect who shot and killed actress Thandeka Mdeliswa
Mdeliswa best known for her lead role on the popular SABC 1 drama series, Ikani was shot in what her family describes as an act of gender-based violence.

JOHANNESBURG – Mpumalanga police say they are searching for the man who shot and killed actress Thandeka Mdeliswa in what has been described as an act of gender-based violence.
Mdeliswa best known for her lead role on the popular SABC 1 drama series, Ikani was shot in what her family describes as an act of gender-based violence.
Leonard Hlathi of the police said she was shot to death earlier this week and died at Steve Biko Hospital on Saturday.
“We are away from home looking for the responsible man. We are requesting information from the public to assist us. Those who have information about this act should approach the police so that we can put the person responsible behind bars ”.
The news of the actress’s death has sparked further outrage on social media over the senseless murder of women by men.
