Mosimane hits Chipezeze after Sundowns’ loss to Baroka

Mameloodi Sundowns coach Pitso Masimane lashed out at Elvis Chipezeze after his team’s loss to Baroka, saying the Zimbabwe goalkeeper is “the master of sitting down and killing the game.”

Masandawana, who was chasing the Mosimane title, failed to take advantage of record leaders Kaizer Chiefs’ 0-1 loss to Bidvest Wits earlier, when they lost to relegation-threatened Baroka by an identical scoreboard.

In his post-match interview with SuperSport TV, An enraged Mosimane dealt a major blow to Chipezeze, who did not even participate in the game due to suspension, accusing the former Chicken Inn capper of being an expert in wasting time.

“This[Baroka’s substitute goalkeeper, Ayanda Dlamini]was different. They have Elvis Chipezeze, who was a master of sitting down, of killing the game. I don’t know his name, I think Baroka raise them, hey, ”he said.

“They raise these who do not allow the game to continue. But it’s okay, they have to do what they have to do to survive. It’s okay. It’s not what made us lose. What made us lose is not checking the box. But we move on, this has a heartbeat. It is still working. We’ll see how it goes, “added Mosimane.

The expert also insulted the players and Baroka staff shortly after the game, telling them that they are not worthy of ‘disrespecting’ the Sundowns.

“We can lose the game, okay. But don’t disrespect us, you are a relegation team, ”Mosimane said on camera.
