The year 2020 will be remembered forever for a number of things, mainly negative, it must be said. However, for a Pitso Mosimane, this year will go down in the history books after the South African strategist won two 3-pointers in possibly the two strongest leagues on the continent.
After a triple win in South Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns during the 2019/20 campaign, Pitso Mosimane completed his second hat-trick of the season thanks to a Cup win in Egypt.
Mosimane wins the sixth trophy of the season
Mosimane’s Al Ahly scored a dramatic penalty shootout victory over El Gaish FC in the Egyptian Cup final earlier tonight, leading to their tally of six major trophies of the season.
Mosimane led the Mamelodi Sundowns to the Premiership Absa, Telkom Knockout and the Nedbank Cup before lifting the Egyptian Premier League, CAF Champions League and Egyptian Cup with Al Ahly.
Trophy number seven remains a great possibility for Mosimane with Al Ahly set to face RSB Berkane of Morocco in the 2019/20 CAF Super Cup. The match was originally scheduled for December 10, however it is now rumored to be delayed according to KingFut.
