More impending arrests for leaked license plate exams

JOHANNESBURG – The Hawks said more arrests were imminent in the license plate leak scandal.

This follows the arrest of a suspect in connection with the theft of Matrix Math Test Two.

Themba Shikwambana was arrested for the Maths Paper 2 test leak last Wednesday following an investigation by the Hawks.

Three parent documents were leaked last month.

The Hawks hope to make more arrests in connection with the leak of Paper 2 in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences Exams.

Katlego Mogale, spokesperson for the Hawks: “Themba Shikwambana works for a Johannesburg-based company contracted by the Department of Basic Education to print the current year’s tuition exams.”

The Hawks said investigations were continuing into how the other tests were leaked.
