Mohale Motaung-Mhlongo’s parody video of what people plan to do with their R350 unemployment didn’t go down well.
Over the weekend, the “Somizi and Mohale: The Union” star uploaded a video trying to make a joke about how he would spend the R350 Covid-19 unemployment benefit.
In the video, Mohale syncs with the audio of someone calling a Volkswagen dealer and asking how much a Polo Vivo costs.
He subtitled the video: “I after obtaining the R350 that the government promised us.
Look the following video:
The video started circulating on Twitter after he posted it on the microblogging website with many users calling his video anti-poor and deaf as it is in a prime spot.
We have a problem, the Hez level is not in the R350. His words have value, unlike mine. I can joke with president ka. But the President cannot joke with me. Proportionality decides equity. So Mohale is wrong.

If he wants to be a public figure … he needs to consider certain posts and things he says, because he always bites you again when you act without thinking about the impact your brand and followers have. Now look at the rear whip that he and Ntando Duma are receiving.

Today Mohale is making fun of the unemployed and their R350, we should laugh and kikiki. When it comes to him and his blessed husband, it is intimidation. But it’s okay…

So sad, that video was so unnecessary and shows that he is new money.

I am very offended that we are still justifying his inhuman gesture. We come from a context where 350 was the benchmark of a good salary. What Mohale did is unforgivable.

After the reaction, he deleted the video from Twitter and TikTok.
