Miley Cyrus once admitted that Liam Hemsworth has “anger issues”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s on-and-off relationship spanning more than ten years has been well-recorded by the media and it appears that their past interviews may have hinted at why their marriage fell apart.

An interview unearthed from Wrecking ball Hit Maker has been doing rounds on the Internet, where the 27-year-old talks about the “anger problems” of her then boyfriend.

The singer had presented the popular MTV show Punk and he was playing a prank on Hemsworth.

The joke went something like this: Two of the show’s writers dressed up as a couple and climbed into the back seat of Cyrus’ car while Hemsworth had gone out to use the ATM. Cyrus is then seen running outside to narrate the incident to Hemsworth and when they return to the car, the couple have their doors closed.

Hemsworth is then seen knocking on the door and yelling at the couple, asking them to come out, while the fake police officers also arrive on the scene and arrest the couple, who lie and say they know Hemsworth and Cyrus. Hearing this, the policeman told the The Hunger Games actor who could be charged with a felony that further irritates the actor.

And while everything is sorted out shortly after Cyrus confesses that this was all a cheat, she had already warned the producers of her boyfriend’s anger issues.

When asked if Hemsworth would giggle in reaction to the joke, Cyrus said, “He won’t.”

“He has a little anger problem, you know,” she said, adding that she doesn’t know how he would feel when the couple got into his car.

Hemsworth’s anger issues date back to Daily News In 2009, he published a story about himself and his brother Chris Hemsworth, allegedly involved in a fight.

Later in 2015, another instance showed how the actor was once upset with a journalist, who introduced himself as Chris, thinking that he was mistaking him for his brother by calling him Chris.

Later, when the two filed for divorce in 2019, a report from People The magazine claimed that Hemsworth had been “crabby” in the relationship, while Cyrus “supported him when things got dark, but it’s hard … He can also lash out at her and hate the attention his ups and downs attract.”
