Microsoft’s Outlook email service has suffered a global outage affecting the web, desktop and mobile email platforms.
Microsoft confirmed that users around the world are having trouble accessing their Exchange Online accounts.
“We have collected additional data from the affected infrastructures to determine the impact on our Exchange online protocols,” Microsoft He said.

The company added that it is reviewing recent changes to its service to further determine the cause of the impact.
“Users can experience issues with various Exchange Online protocols, including the Outlook desktop, mobile devices, and those that rely on REST functionality,” Microsoft said.

This is the second time this week that Microsoft Cloud Services has stopped working worldwide.

The company later explained that a recent update was the cause of the outage.
“We have identified a recent change that appears to be the source of the problem. We are rolling back the change to mitigate the impact, ”Microsoft said.
