- Friends and family recently attended a memorial service for Chadwick Boseman in Malibu.
- The Black Panther actor died last month after a four-year battle with colon cancer.

Chadwick Boseman’s family and friends paid tribute to the actor at an intimate ceremony in Malibu over the weekend.
In attendance at the memorial, overlooking the ocean, were Chadwick’s wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, as well as actor Michael B. Jordan’s co-stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.
The memorial arrives just a week after the news of Chadwick’s death. The actor died at age 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer.
The weekend’s memorial was beautiful, including music from a hanging drum with a portrait of Chadwick alongside a flower arrangement, he reports. IT IS! News.
Ahead of Black Panther death of the star, her co-stars from the 2018 film shared tributes on social media.
Michael B. Jordan wrote I wish I had more time with the actor. “One of the last times we spoke, you said we were linked forever, and now the truth of that means more to me than ever,” he said.
He added: “Everything you have given the world … the legends and heroes you have shown us that we are … will live forever. But what hurts the most is that now I understand the legend and the hero than YOU. Despite everything, you never lost sight of what you loved the most. You cared about your family, your friends, your craft, your spirit. You cared about children, the community, our culture and humanity. You cared about me. You are my Big brother, but I never had a chance to tell you or give you the flowers while you were here. “
He went on, promising to live the rest of his days the way Chadwick did: “gracefully, courageously, and without regrets.”
