JOHANNESBURG – Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has fired a salvo at MK Veterans Kebby Maphatsoe and Carl Niehaus.
He has accused them of hiding behind ANC structures to loot state entities.

On Monday, members of MKMVA marched to Luthuli House demanding Mbalula’s arrest.

The transport minister said he is under attack for cleaning up corruption in Prasa and canceling irregular security contracts.
He tweeted that the protesters were thugs disguised as uMkhonto weSizwe.

The ANC spokesman has rebuked Mbalula.

“If the minister has been aggravated by certain statements in the past, he should be using organizing platforms,” said Pule Mabe.
