Community Services and Health MMC Zahid Badroodien said that while visiting the entertainment facilities for the past two days, it became clear that Cape Town still struggles to adhere to the correct health and safety protocols.
“Some companies have implemented the necessary measures where possible, however, there is still much to be desired in many institutions in city communities where there is a blatant disregard for these regulations,” Badroodien said.
The Western Cape is now dealing with more than 12,400 active cases of COVID-19.
