Manchester United can still sign Jadon Sancho this summer, but only if he comes with an “incredible” offer, according to Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft. Sancho has been United’s main transfer target during this transfer period. However, the Red Devils have so far not been prepared to pay Borussia Dortmund’s £ 108 million starting price.
Sancho is currently with the England team ahead of Dortmund’s season opener against MSV Duisburg at DFB-Pokal on Monday.
Fjortoft cannot see the 20-year-old winger going on strike to push for a deal with United.
But he still believes that a huge offer from United would tempt Dortmund to sell him, despite the club having previously said that Sancho would not leave.
“It’s been a month since [Michael] Zorc and Dortmund said there was a deadline and if we take him to training camp on August 10, he will stay, “Fjortoft told ESPN FC.
