Solskjaer sends a message to critics
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solslkjaer sent a message to his critics after his team’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea.
The Norwegian manager has come under fire after a difficult start to the 2020/21 campaign, which included a humiliating 6-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.
Solslkjaer’s handling of new signing Donny van de Beek has also been questioned, with the Dutch star as an unused substitute against Chelsea.

“He’s been out for a while with the coronavirus this summer so he’s getting better and better and maybe more in his form,” he said. “Maybe I was unfair to him by starting him so early in the first games, but he is moving forward and he has done very well when he has.”
The United manager added: “When you have good players it’s a good challenge and a decision to make when you have good players on the bench who can come in and impact the game. I think Paul, in the three games this week, has really had a great impact and has had a very positive impact.
Neville questions the role of Van de Beek
Then Van de beek As an unused substitute in United’s draw with Chelsea, Gary Neville has described Solskjaer’s use of the Dutch star as “a mystery”.
Van de Beek arrived from Ajax on a £ 40.1 million move this summer but has yet to make a full start in the Premier League.
