Manchester United fans react to Facundo Pellistri joining the red revolution
The young Uruguayan Facundo Pellistri has completed his signing for Manchester United.
The 18-year-old arrives from Club Atlético Peñarol with a five-year contract, with an option to extend one more year.
Pellistri is the second Uruguayan to make the change to United on the deadline. The other was veteran ace Edinson Cavani.
Able to play on either flank, the 18-year-old played 37 games for Peñarol’s first team. During this time, he scored two goals and gave four assists. (h / t Transfermarkt)
It is a case in which we approach Uruguay to search for the past and the future. While Cavani embraces the best of the nation’s recent past, hopefully Pellistri will echo in a bright future.
