Manchester United are reportedly finalizing the agent’s salary and fees before making a big offer to try to persuade Borussia Dortmund to sell Jadon Sancho.
The 20-year-old forward is known to be United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s number one target this summer, and the Red Devils have been in negotiations over a move for the player for some time.
Now that they have completed the transfer of Dutch attacking midfielder Donny van de Beek, United is likely to turn their attention back to Sancho.
And according to the Daily Mail, they are putting the final touches on the personal terms aspect of the possible move before returning to negotiations with Dortmund.
So far, the German club has refused to give up its £ 108m valuation on Sancho, who scored 16 goals and created 17 assists during his remarkable final season in the Bundesliga.
Whether United can get their price lowered remains to be seen, but various Dortmund-related figures have insisted that the player will go nowhere for the foreseeable future.
Its sporting director, Michael Zorc, said last month: “We plan to have Jadon Sancho on our team this season. The decision is final. I think he answers all of our questions.”
“Last summer we adjusted Jadon’s salary to match the development of his performances. So, in context, we had already extended his contract to 2023 at that time.”

And director Sebastien Kehl added: “Jadon is happy to stay. He has a contract until 2023.
“I see him on the field and he’s very happy. Everyone is very happy to have him. He will be here for at least one more season.”
“This team is the best we had. We have a mix of very good players, young and mature. We have tried to develop the team in recent years. Hopefully we can win titles next season because titles are what matters. Most in the end. “.
