Man Utd Champions League squad confirmed for Istanbul Basaksehir with Alex Telles absent

Manchester United’s squad for their latest Champions League outing has been announced.

The Red Devils will resume their quest for the European Cup on Wednesday night, traveling to Turkey to face Istanbul Basaksehir of the Super Lig.

United will face the Turkish champions after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Arsenal last weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes his troops can extend their perfect record in Europe this season with an impressive performance in Istanbul.

The Norwegian, however, will not be able to call on all his first-team players for the trip to Turkey.

Summer signing Alex Telles will miss Wednesday’s game due to a recent positive test for COVID-19. The Brazilian has yet to play for United since their 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain late last month.

However, Solskjaer will be able to call on the services of Anthony Martial for tomorrow’s game.

The French international missed Sunday’s loss to Arsenal via suspension, but is back in the line-up for United’s Group H game three.
