Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that Paul Pogba has the right attitude at Old Trafford. However, he also warned the Real Madrid and Juventus transfer target that no one is bigger than the club. The French international is eager to leave the Red Devils behind for a new challenge elsewhere after nearly five disappointing years.

Pogba wants to leave United, with Juventus currently the favorite to sign the 2018 World Cup winner over Real Madrid.

But Solskjaer, speaking ahead of his team’s Premier League showdown with Leeds on Sunday, has insisted the player is focused.

While that’s the case, however, the Norwegian has issued a warning to the French international, insisting that no one is bigger than the club.

“Paul was here as a kid in the U18 category, we hired him from the start, he comes with the Man United DNA in him,” he said.

“He knows what it’s about. Man United is about being on a team. I would not tolerate anyone thinking they are bigger than Man United because no one is.

“Absolutely no one is and Paul knows it. It’s not just Paul, it’s for all of us.

“Paul is unhappy at Manchester United, he can’t express himself how he wants and how people expect him to.

“He needs to change teams, he needs a change of scenery.

“He has a contract that expires in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but the best solution for all parties is a transfer in the next window.

“Otherwise, the Old Trafford club, with whom I have a great relationship, knows well that it would risk losing him in a free transfer, since at the moment it is not the intention of the player to extend the contract.”

However, Solskjaer has insisted that he will not be deterred from the club taking on Raiola.

The Norwegian is understood to be interested in signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, despite being turned down by the 20-year-old in January.

“I leave the negotiations with the agents to the club. I rarely speak to officers, ”says Solskjaer.

“I talk to the players and that is the most important thing for me. I need to see them face to face.

“That is my opinion about it. I think it’s important, the relationship between player and coach, it’s like in the old days.

“I want players who can also handle life. You can’t just pass as agents. “
