One man was killed and another was injured in a single-vehicle car accident.
One man was killed, while another suffered serious injuries after a single vehicle rollover on the R54 at Vaal Marina in Gauteng on Sunday afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 3:00 p.m. and found a vehicle in the grass off the road.
“Upon further evaluation, a patient was found a short distance from the vehicle. The man was found to be in critical condition. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man succumbed to multiple injuries at the scene,” ER24 said in a statement Sunday.

Another man was found on the ground in serious condition and paramedics immediately began advanced life support interventions at the scene.
“The man was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital for additional medical attention. Three others were also found at the scene, but they had not suffered injuries,” ER24 added.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known.
