Johannesburg – EFF leader Julius Malema told party members yesterday that there were no murders on farms in the country and that the murder of women and children deserved special attention.

Malema was speaking in front of the Senekal Magistrates Court, where Paul Roux residents Sekwetje Mahlamba, 32, and Sekola Matlaletsa, 44, requested bail.

“There are no murdered white farmers in South Africa. We were going to pay his bail, ”Malema said.

Malema said the EFF was not supporting Mahlamba and Matlaletsa for the crime they were accused of, but had put together the best legal team for them.

However, he warned Mahlamba, Matlaletsa and their families that the EFF was not in Senekal to support the criminals.

We are here to face white arrogance. We don’t want nonsense, ”he said.

Malema thanked the hundreds of EFF members who were in Senekal for coming face to face with “racists” and what he described as “white criminals.”

“We will not allow you to use your white supremacist tendencies when we are here,” he said.

According to Malema, apartheid did not end in 1994 and yesterday it showed its true colors.

He said anti-apartheid activists never went to jail and exile just to vote, instead they wanted access to land, ownership of banks, mines and other strategic sectors of the economy.

“We want our land and everything that comes with it. We are liberated Africans. We are not fighting the whites. We don’t want to be white. Black is beautiful, ”Malema said.

He called on EFF members not to worry about blacks calling them thugs and anarchists for going to the eastern city of the Free State, as Nelson Mandela was also called a terrorist by other blacks.

Earlier in the day, EFF Vice President Floyd Shivambu warned against repeating what happened last week when a mob of farmers stormed the court and even fired live ammunition at police officers and suspects in cells.

Meanwhile, FF Plus strongly condemned the EFF supporters who sang the song “Kill the Boer” in Senekal yesterday and filed a complaint against Malema and his supporters with the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).

FF Plus leader Dr. Pieter Groenewald said that farm killings are a reality and it is these kinds of incitement and irresponsible statements that play a role in the attacks and murders on farms.

Julius Malema must be held personally responsible because he openly defends hatred and violence. Before today’s court case in Senekal, he even condoned the notion of a civil war.

This incitement awakens followers and makes them behave recklessly, as was the case with Clicks protests across the country. Julius Malema is not above the law and it is time that action was taken against him in the interest of all the people of the country, ”said Groenewald.

In 2003, the FF Plus succeeded in their endeavor when the HRC declared that singing the song amounts to hate speech.
