Magashule ‘ready and available for rumored arrest warrant’ – attorney

Ace Magashule told Eyewitness News on Tuesday that he was neither concerned nor surprised by reports of an arrest warrant being directed at him.

JOHANNESBURG – The lawyer for the secretary general of the African National Congress (ANC), Ace Magashule, Victor Nkhwashu, said that his client has not been formally informed about the alleged arrest warrant against him.

Magashule on Tuesday said Eyewitness news that he was neither concerned nor surprised by reports of an arrest warrant being directed at him.

He added that he “learned” of an order signed by a Bloemfontein court related to the failed Estina dairy farm project that left black farmers destitute.

Clement Manyathela, in 702 Breakfast, I spoke with Nkhwashu to give him more information.

“We have not been formally informed about an accepted arrest from what we have seen in the media with the IOL article. However, our client is ready and available in case there is such a warrant,” Nkhwashu said.
