After the lustful claims about local celebrities, some of Mzansi’s favorites have shown their fans their funny side.
Metro FM DJ Pearl Modiadie joined her peers in poking fun at claims that some of Mzansi’s most famous faces use “dark magic” to achieve their success.
Controversial author Jackie Phamotse set the streets of social media on fire and turned them into a total disaster this week when she accused some people in the entertainment industry of using “snakes” and “witchcraft” to get ahead.
“I’m not saying that all rich people live like this, no. I am saying that there is a small portion of people who live like this constantly. They will make you believe they have concerts, they have sponsorships. They will make you believe that they are selling these products that are giving them millions.
“But behind that facade, there are four or five men who are financing this. They constantly go to sangomas, they constantly change friends because the more friends know, the more complicated it becomes, “Jackie told her followers in an IGTV Live video.
While many were shocked by the claims, Pearl took to Twitter to post a photo of herself with a snake around her neck.
“What’s that about snakes?” He asked.
She assured fans that it was a memory of her on a trip to Bali three years ago, then removed the posts.
While deleting the tweet, he said, “I couldn’t resist everyone standing up for this!”
947 host DJ Fresh also joined in on the fun, posting a photo of himself holding a snake. Rapper Cassper Nyovest shared a video of his best friend Carpo freaking out while holding a snake.
