French champions PSG are said to be interested in making a move for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi next summer, which would be the biggest transfer in football since Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus.
The Parisians have a ‘Plan B’ if they can’t catch the Argentine icon, and that’s Paulo Dybala from the aforementioned Italian team, but apparently they won’t be alone in that race.
According to AS, Liverpool are ready to start a battle with PSG for the Juventus star, valued at £ 72 million per Transfermarkt.
The Spanish media affirms that the Premier League is one of the several clubs that have approached Dybala, and that the Argentine international’s contract runs out in 2022.

It’s unclear where the forward at Anfield would fit into the current squad, with Mo Salah, Bobby Firmino and Diogo Jota filling the roles he normally plays for Juve.
But on the other hand, he could be perfect for Liverpool: his style of play is very similar to what Jurgen Klopp would expect of his players and he is not new to occupying the role of center forward.
With that said, AS is not known to be particularly trustworthy and we urge its followers to take this rumor with a heap of salt.
