Eduardo Camavinga received an impressive comparison from Xabi Alonso on Tuesday. Liverpool and Real Madrid allegedly love the teenager.
Former French footballer Peter Luccin, who played for Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid, among others, spoke of Camavinga to Marca.
Luccin also gave a brilliant assessment of the teenager, comparing Camavinga to the former Liverpool midfielder and Real Alonso.
“[Camavinga] it has no limits, “Luccin told MARCA.” It is a diamond to be polished. It has a spectacular physique for its age, a good left foot and the will to sacrifice itself: it will be a star. “
Luccin was not the only one to talk about Camavinga to Marca. Former royal midfielder Christian Benavente, now in Nantes, also spoke highly.
“I would emphasize that he is always well marked when it comes to receiving the ball and moving forward and that, at his age, is very difficult,” said Benavente.
“He doesn’t lose the ball in congested areas, he’s reliable with short, medium and long passes and, with the ball at his feet, he can break lines with his forward impulses.
“He has an Xabi Alonso air about him.”
Liverpool and Real reportedly want Camavinga. The sport, for example, recently said that the Reds love the 17-year-old and that it would cost him around £ 46 million.
What RTK has to say
Camavinga sounds better and better every time we hear about him. Alonso’s comparisons, in particular, are excellent: Liverpool lack such a player at the moment.
But French can do even more. He leads Ligue 1 in tackles per game (4.3 by Whoscored), suggesting he can really do it all as a midfielder.
And those versatile guys are perfect for Liverpool. The Reds’ midfield features several players who excel at providing the skills they need at the moment, rather than specialized roles.
Certainly, it seems that Camavinga can also achieve that. We have said before that he is ideal for Liverpool and we support him.
